Football Themed Desserts

I'm looking for ideas for desserts that are football themed to go to a SuperBowl Party. If you have any good recipes please let me know. I'm looking for things that you don't need to eat with a utensil, so please no cakes.

And does anyone know where I can get football shaped cookie cutters?

  • In 2006 when the Steelers won the Super Bowl I went to a party and made cocoa rice crispes treats and once cool in the pan I cut them in squares and then trimmed them into football shapes and outlined them with melted white chocolate and added laces also. You could buy yellow melting chocolate at Henry's and make it like black and gold. Easy and very tasty they went quickly and no special pans or cookie cutters needed.

  • Thanks, I'll have to try that with the cookie cutter and the liners for cupcakes are a great idea. I didn't even think of that. And no mess, that's always a plus!

  • http://www.cakeandcandy.com/cupcake_liners.htm <-- you can use cute mini cupcake liners and fill them with anything for easy no mess desserts. For example cupcakes, spiced nuts, even cheese cake I have in these before.

  • Take a round cookie cutter and bend the sides inward. It makes an oval with pointed ends like a football.
